Midday Supervisory Assistant – St Hilda’s CE Primary School

Flexible Up to 6.25 hours per week / 1.25 hours per day 

Established Part time
Grade B - £9.18 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our existing staff at St Hilda’s Primary school for 3 lunchtimes a week to provide support and supervision for our pupils (including Nursery children) over the lunchtime period.

You need to be able to communicate effectively with children of all abilities, developing appropriate professional relationships, maintaining the safeguarding and welfare of children under your care.

Duties will include assisting the school cook to serve meals to the pupils, monitoring the children as they eat, supervising them on the playground and basic first aid.

Based at St Hilda’s CE Primary School, Ampleforth

Advanced Teaching Assistant

Required to start November 2019 – 12hpw. Our small village school is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible professional to join our friendly team and work with all age ranges in the school. A proficiency in delivering Phonics would be an advantage. You will have the willingness and ability to work co-operatively alongside experienced teacher colleagues, carrying out a mixture of work with individuals (some SEND work), support for groups, plan and deliver small group interventions and organisation of the setting. A childcare qualification at level 3 is essential as is GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or their equivalents. The hours will be :-

Mon 08:45am – Midday

Tue 08:45am – Midday & 1:30pm – 3:45pm

Wed 1:30pm – Midday

 

Midday Supervisory Assistant

The hours are 12:00 midday – 1:00pm Mon, Tue & Wed
