Reflection Area
Nursery & Class 1In the Nursery building, we have a reflection area which is a special place for the children to sit and think about our values. The displays in the area encourage the children to reflect on what the values mean to them and how they relate to real life in school and beyond. Our display is changed each half term and links to the value being studied in collective worship. The area is seen by the children as a peaceful place within the business of Nursery and they sometimes use it when they want a little time out to refresh themselves. | ![]() |
Whole SchoolIn our hall, we have a reflection area where we look at Christian values. We also write special prayers in our Golden Prayer Book. We have been reflecting on belonging to the Diocesan family and how we can make a positive contribution to our community. We all love to take part in our fun assemblies. Everyone at our school can enjoy our corner of reflection. By Effie Year 5 and Kaitlyn Year 6
One of the prayers in our prayer book goes like this: RespectDear God, Please help everyone when it is hard to be considerate. Help us to understand and have respect of each other and lead by example. Amen. By Kieran Yates Year 4
